Introduction of Hachinohe Mulberry Tea
1. feature
We rent an abandoned mulberry garden in the southern region of Aomori prefecture, where sericulture was once flourishing, and collect mulberry leaves from the mulberry garden that was regenerated and raised.
We started manufacturing in the process dedicated to mulberry tea at our own factory built in August 2015.
The mulberry tea made is characterized by the fact that the active ingredients are more easily extracted than before.
Mulberry contains 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ), a component that acts like a drug that may be used in early-stage diabetes.
Therefore, it inhibits the action of glucosidase, which is responsible for further decomposing disaccharides and sugar obtained by decomposing starch with amylase into monosaccharides in the small intestine.
Thereby, this has the effect of suppressing the absorption of sugar.
In addition, since mulberry contains more dietary fiber than burdock, it suppresses the absorption of fat.
Therefore, mulberry tea is a healthy tea that is recommended for those who have a habit of drinking tea and who are considering measures against diabetes and high blood pressure.
In addition, as a synergistic effect of suppressing the absorption of sugar and fat, it is also effective against metabolic syndrome and lifestyle-related diseases, and some people can expect a dieting effect.
Since its establishment, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers have been used to cultivate mulberry.

2. How to drink
Mulberry tea is recommended to be taken somewhere between just before and one hour after meals to enhance its effect.
The recommended way to drink mulberry tea is to put it in a teapot and drink it in the same way as green tea, or boil it in a kettle and then drink it.
Pour about 180 ml of hot water into a teapot containing about 3 g of mulberry tea, and then transfer it to a teacup after a few minutes.
For example, after drinking in the morning, you can drink mulberry tea, adding hot water during the day and night.
When it's hot, many people carry mulberry tea boiled in a kettle in a handy thermos after cooling it in the refrigerator.
When it's cold, we recommend putting hot tea boiled in a kettle in a thermos bottle.
It is desirable to drink mulberry tea without fail when eating, so we want you to drink it when you eat out as well.
Unlike green tea, mulberry tea does not contain caffeine and tannins, so you can drink it at night.
It is convenient because it can be stored in the refrigerator for about 2 days.
